Changed cost to $50/head

My untempered optimism got the best of me and I was a bit unrealistic in setting the budget, so we are changing the cost to $50/head as of today. If you've already paid, no worries...just consider it a thank you for paying so promptly!

We are using the additional $10/head to supply meat for the Saturday family BBQ at Collis' and food at Chelsea's Saturday night. For the BBQ, please bring along your kids, parents, and a potluck appetizer, side dish, or dessert. Cara is coordinating this so email her if you are interested in helping out.

FYI, the $50/head fee will now be allocated as follows:
$10/head: BBQ (meat, drinks, plates, cups, etc)
$15/head: Food at Chelsea's + gratuity for the bartenders
$20/head: Open bar (including everything!)
$5/head: Decorations, miscellaneous

I apologize for changing things up and hope it's not too much of an inconvenience for anyone! Thanks again to everyone who has helped.

Stuart found Heather and is still looking for Joy, and we have someone working on finding the other three fellow grads (Javen, Ryan, and Katie). Updates to come soon...

Many thanks to our very own Anna for putting this most creative invite together, and to everyone else who has helped out for this worthy cause. A few important things:

1. We still need to find contact info for: Javen Branch, Ryan Davenport, Heather Holloway, Katie Wood, and Joy Yoshina. Can you find these folks for us? If so, please do so and send me their email addresses ASAP!

2. Please RSVP and pay by APRIL 30 (use the secure Paypal link at the top left of this page).

3. We are coordinating accommodations, so if you will be booking a hotel please email me ASAP (knwylie@yahoo.com).

4. If you are able to help out in any way, please get in touch with me soon. It's settled...we will have a fun-filled reunion weekend May 23-25 (see the lineup below). We rented out the lounge side of Chelsea's Cafe under the Perkins Road overpass, with open bar and scrumptious food from 8-11pm, and Soul Rebels Brass Band playing on the other side of the bar around 11. We are coordinating hotel accommodations, so if you will be needing a hotel, please email me asap (knwylie@yahoo.com). We are also collecting old photos from UHS days and will have a slideshow and display (thanks Jary!). Please scan your photos, save them as a jpeg file, and email them to Jary at rsox15@aol.com. If you'd prefer, you can mail them to her at 133 Waverly Ave, Apt 3, Melrose MA 02176-4227, and she will return them to you at the reunion.

Friday, 6pm: Happy hour & appetizers at The Chimes

Saturday, 1-4pm: Family BBQ at Collis' house

Reunion at The Varsity...

We have considered a few places for the Saturday night reunion, and it looks like the Varsity is now at the top of the list, with catered food from the Chimes and a reasonable charge for open bar (Cara, thanks for all the work on this front!). We will probably be booking it very soon, so speak now if you have any concerns or other ideas.

If you know now that you will not be able to make the reunion for whatever reason, and have not already let me know, please do so asap.

We are still searching for: Ryan Davenport, Heather Holloway, Dawn Pierson, and Katie Wood. Please use your skills to find them!

I have contacted Javen Branch, James Ellis, Lee Haynes, John Lewis, Kathy Madden, Lindsey Michaelson, Kellie Naquin, Trent Rives, Michael Selders, & Joy Yoshina, and am awaiting their reply. I'll update this list as I hear from them. I'm not sure if the email address I have for Javen, Lindsey, Kellie, or Joy are current, so if anyone has recent contact info for them please pass it along.

Please cast your vote for a specific date for our reunion. The final poll will close mid October. Please also post your suggestions for a location; currently under consideration are Chelsea's and upstairs @ the Varsity.
